The Drakensberg Secondary School Class of 1985 hosted a reunion last Friday and Saturday.

Former classmates from across the length and breadth of South Africa returned to their hometown to spend a weekend in familiar company.

The weekend’s festivities kicked off with a braai on Friday evening before the main event on Saturday.

Champagne Sports Resort was the venue for the 35-year reunion and for some it was the first time they had seen each other since 1985.

After the formalities, dinner was served and thereafter it was time to party the night away.
