Winter Sports Challenge cancelled

The annual Endumeni Winter Sports Challenge has been cancelled, as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak.

Organiser, Ash Khan said the decision to cancel was taken to ensure the safety of everyone involved. The annual event had been set to take place at the Kallies Stadium next month.

Numerous sporting and entertainment events have been cancelled around the globe, as a result of the pandemic.

Mr Khan urged residents to stay at home during the lockdown period and not make excuses to wander around town. He also encouraged people to practise social distancing and to wash their hands thoroughly, to help stop the spread of the virus.

In conclusion, Mr Khan wished everyone well during this difficult time.
