In a day full of activity, the team raided shops, made a number of arrests, conducted ‘stop and search’ operations

The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) converged on Vryheid today, to conduct roadblocks and clear the streets.
The SANDF worked together with the local South African Police Service (SAPS), the Departments of Health and Social Development, the Road Traffic Inspectorate and Operation Sukuma Sakhe members.
In a day full of activity, the team raided shops, made a number of arrests, conducted ‘stop and search’ operations and also raised awareness about Covid-19.
