Water woes plague Dannhauser again

Dannhauser residents' anger is boiling after the town was without water for days in a row.

Dannhauser residents have been left fuming once again, with the town without water for two days now. This has been blamed on a power failure, which caused challenges with the pumps.

The Amajuba District Municipality has since apologised to residents for the inconvenience caused, and said it has arranged for water tankers to be sent to the area.

However, this is not enough to placate residents, who said they have had enough of constant water woes especially during the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown.
