No mask, no entry to medical practice

Receptionists will refuse anyone access to the consulting room should they not be wearing a mask

Local medical practice DunMed has urged all patients entering their rooms in Victoria Street to ensure that they are wearing a face mask.

President Ramaphosa deemed face masks a necessity when out in public, following the level 4 regulations that came into affect in a bid to prevent the further spread of the Covid-19 virus.

In a statement to the Courier, DunMed said that “in the interest of the health and safety of the public, and our patients, together with the health and safety of the practitioners and staff, every patient entering the practice shall be required to wear a face mask”.

“Please note that the receptionists will refuse anyone access to the consulting room should you not be wearing a mask.”
