Suspect in detention on allegations of arson

KZN Private Ambulance Services responded and provided standby at a house fire in Bhekuzulu.

Reports are unclear as to the cause but a suspect has been detained on suspicion of arson.

A elderly woman from the dwelling suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to hospital by Private car.

One of the fire fighters sustained burns to his hand and was treated on scene.
