“No unauthorised person may enter the building during this period.

New criminal cases and cases pending during this time will be heard by a court in an office space at the SAPS Stock Theft Unit in Buckingham Road. (All that will happen at the special court is that cases will be postponed until after the decontamination process is over and can again be heard at the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court)

Civil matters and Family Law matters that are on the court rolls during this period will be postponed in the absence of the parties to the following week.

“We apologise for the short notice and inconvenience caused by these arrangements.”
