Strict measures in place at re-opened bank

Preference will be given to essential workers in uniform and with permits

Standard Bank in Dannhauser may have re-opened to the public now that we’re in level 4 lockdown, but it’s not entirely business as usual.

The bank has put in place strict measures to ensure the safety of staff and clients.

All clients will have their temperature scanned at the door prior to entry, and anyone exceeding 37.3 degrees will be denied entry into the bank and advised to visit their local medical practitioner. There is also a strict ‘no mask, no entry’ policy.

Only seven clients will be allowed entry into the bank at a time, and hand sanitizer will be provided at the door.

Strict social distancing measures will also be implemented at the ATMs and within the bank.

Preference will be given to essential workers in uniform and with permits.

Staff have asked that clients respect the measures put in place and play their part in ensuring the safety of all during this tough time.
