Some Grade 7s and 12s return to school after months

Learners and teachers were all screened and had their temperatures checked

Certain schools in and around Ladysmith opened their doors today (June 8) after more than two months.

Learners were welcomed back by teachers and principals, who were on the ground making sure that all the coronavirus (Covid-19) measures that have been put in place were followed to the letter.

The learners and teachers were all screened and had their temperatures checked before entering the grounds.

Schools have put every possible precautionary measure in place to keep all the learners and staff safe so that the schooling year can continue.
