Farmer hit and killed by taxi has been identified
No one in the taxi was injured
The farmer who was killed yesterday afternoon (July 6) has been identified as Willie Boshoff. He is well known in the Ladysmith community.
Mr Boshoff was tragically killed while doing firebreaks. He was struck by a taxi as he was getting out of his bakkie.

The taxi was carrying passengers at the time and was travelling towards Ladysmith.
None of the occupants in the taxi sustained any injuries.
