Weather warning: Snow predicted for this week

Winter is far from over and a mammoth cold front is on the way...

According to Snow Report, winter is far from over… Yes, weather data suggests that the biggest snowfall of the season is developing in the South Atlantic, which is expected to reach South Africa on Thursday (July 9).

The data predicts widespread snow across a great deal of South Africa from Thursday to Saturday (July 11), also promising to bring heavy rains. This could apply to some parts of Namibia as well if the system stays on track.

So expect bitterly cold weather later this week, when the mammoth cold front makes landfall. Weather experts say that we should expect one of the most eventful winter weekends in Southern Africa in many years.
