A 68-year-old man was shot dead in Ezakheni on Sunday (July 5).
According to police, the man’s body was found by community members near a sports field in Ezakheni B-Section.
“The deceased sustained gunshot wounds to the head. One live round of ammunition and six spent cartridges were recovered from the crime scene,” said police spokesperson Captain Bongani Nyathi.

Captain Nyathi added that Ezakheni SAPS are currently investigating a murder case.
No arrests have yet been made.
