Working towards a better future

''Hope is the feather that reminds us we have wings.''

When faced with tough times, one can only look to the future.
The marketing team at Vryheid High School (VHS) has been hard at work visiting all neighbouring primary schools, “selling our wonderful school”.
The team visited both Nardini Convent and NRS during the past week. VHS had to be abruptly shut down on Wednesday as a precaution.
Due to a possible Covid-19 threat, the school has been deep cleaned and resumed as normal on Monday. The school will also be welcoming the Grade 11s back to school. The Grade 11s will have an A and B group to ensure fewer numbers so the school can stick to the social distancing guidelines.
The VHS wellness programme message in these troubling times is: ”Hope is the feather that reminds us we have wings.” VHS learners, be safe – be strong.
