For many, fishing is something one does to relax at a dam or a river. It can also be an exciting day out on the water, landing some massive catches.

Prenesh Pandoy, Ralph Pandoy and Sudesh ‘Cheese’ Singh recently went down to the Tugela River at a “secret location” and managed to lure some giant fish with their bait. Speaking to Ralph, he says the day out was great as it was a change of scenery and was a much-needed break to help get them through the lockdown.

Ralph, Prenesh and Sudesh are part of Ladysmith Angling Club (LAC), and Ralph adds that in line with their club principles, they practice a ‘catch and release’ policy to make sure that the anglers of the future also have amazing fish to catch.

This team of fishermen are looking forward to catching many more fish in the weeks to come and are also looking forward to when competitive fishing starts again.
