Eskom announces chance of load-shedding for Ladysmith
The country's electricity supplier is battling to keep up with demand
Eskom this afternoon (July 17) confirmed in a press release that Ladysmith and Ezakheni could be affected by load-shedding.
Load-shedding is expected to start during peak hours.
Eskom has blamed illegal connections and vandalised infrastructure as reasons for the potential blackouts.
