St Oswald’s Secondary School records second case of Covid-19

All relevant protocols will be taken to ensure the school is deep cleaned and disinfected.

St Oswalds Secondary School is closed until further notice after a learner tested positive for Covid-19.

This is the second time the school has reported a Covid-19 case after its first case earlier this month.

“The Department of Education and Department of Health have been informed about the situation. All relevant protocols will be taken to ensure the school is deep cleaned and disinfected, to ensure the safety of all learners and staff,” read a letter to parents.

To date, in the Amajuba District, the KZN Department of Health has recorded:

Confirmed cases: 2327

Deaths: 18

Recoveries: 222
