The Fire Department managed to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to the building. Towing services were also there to give a helping hand, along with emergency services in case of injuries.
The community is urged to take precautions when starting a fire, as the dry season and windy conditions can lead to runaway fires that may have devastating consequences. Smokers are urged to ensure that they do not carelessly throw away burning cigarette butts, as this could easily start a fire unwittingly.
