46 deaths of Covid-19 patients in Uthukela District
People are urged to stay at home and wash their hands often

Today (August 5), KwaZulu-Natal reported 1616 new cases of Covid-19 and 1039 deaths.
To date, the entire province has recorded 85,868 positive identified cases, with 51,972 recoveries and 32,972 active cases at the moment.
As of today, the Uthukela District has 3958 cases, with 2993 recoveries and 46 deaths.
Ethekwini still has the most cases, at 40,554, followed by Umgungundlovu District with 11,812.
People are urged to stay at home in order to prevent the spread of the virus, and to wash their hands often using soap and water or an alcohol-based sanitizer. When you need to go out, wear a mask and follow social distancing.
