Following numerous robberies in the last month and a half, police and local business people are joining forces to tackle crime in Ladysmith.

A meeting was held yesterday evening (October 7) at the Town Hall, where police addressed local businessmen about the spate of robberies and what can possibly be done to put a lid on this criminal scourge in town.

It was a highly successful meeting where lots of productive information was shared; definitely a step in the right direction.

A What’s-app group was mooted to allow faster communication between business robbery victims and the police.
