Ladysmith KZN: Severe thunderstorms predicted

Motorists are urged to take extra precautions when driving

In the midst of the heatwave currently gripping Ladysmith, scattered showers and thundershowers are predicted to hit the north-western parts of KZN later today (October 20) and are expected to become severe.

Municipalities that are expected to be affected by the thunderstorms are: Alfred Duma, Abaqulusi, Dannhauser, eMadlangeni, Endumeni, Inkosi Langalibalele and Okhahlamba.

SA Weather Services have issued a Yellow Alert.

 Motorists are urged to take extra precautions such as reducing speed when driving in the rain.
