Protesters once again blocked the R103 this morning (November 3) as a service delivery protest flared up.

This is an ongoing protest action that started in September, with Cornfield residents complaining about lack of housing and water in the area.

Trucks that were not part of the protest ended up getting stuck in mud in Chieveley after trying to make a U-turn, effectively blocking the road and causing even more disruption.

Motorists using the R103 are urged to be cautious and use an alternative route.
