NEWCASTLE KZN: Police station closed due to positive Covid-19 case
The Newcastle Police Station will be closed until further notice.
The Newcastle Police Station on Allen Street will be closed until further notice.
This is due to a positive case of Covid-19, according to Lizzy Arumugam of the Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications office.
“We want to urge residents to not panic as the Radio Room and vehicles will still be operating as normal,” confirmed Arumugam.
Residents who wish to report a crime or require police assistance are advised to do so at the temporary CSC office, which is situated at the back of the station on York Street.
