An as yet unidentified body was found earlier today (March 16) alongside the Emnambithi Bridge that leads into Kandahar Avenue.

The body was badly decomposed.

Police responded and cordoned off the scene.

At this stage, the gender of the deceased is unknown due to the advanced state of decomposition.

Many people stopped on the bridge to see what was going on.
