Many learners in and around the area are a page away from a world of entertainment and education, thanks to the recent book drive.
Tiara Singh, together with Trisha Rajkumar, Byron Pillay and help from the Northern Natal Courier, spread the word, asking people to donate new or secondhand books in good condition towards the cause.
Books came in from far and wide, and were then sorted out, packed and distributed to schools, a hospital and a clinic in the area.
