ESTCOURT KZN: Government delegation visits Loskop
The Deputy Minister held a briefing with the company’s management before she was taken on a tour of the factory
Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, Nomalungelo Gina accompanied by a governmental delegation visited Bata Footwear in Loskop today (April 22).
This formed part of the deputy minister’s province wide visits to companies that were part of the Siyahlola Programme, which included government-supported factories with clothing and leather companies being among the direct beneficiaries.
The Deputy Minister held a briefing with the company’s management before she was taken on a tour of the factory, where she was shown how the 100% South African produced Bata shoe is made as well as introduced to some of the people who make this trusted South African brand.
