Three vehicles collided in Helpmekaar Road on Thursday night (May 6).

Two bakkies and a light motor vehicle were involved in the crash.

The collision left one person seriously injured, while another six people sustained moderate injuries.

Police, Public Safety and a towing service responded to the scene.

The roadway was closed for just over an hour until the area was cleared.
