ESTCOURT KZN: Blood buddies get giving
Estcourtonians contributed a total of 55 pints of blood
More than 50 blood donors showed their support at last Thursday’s community blood drive.
South African National Blood Service (SANBS) staff were back in town to host the monthly blood donor clinic at Estcourt Methodist Church.
After the Covid-19 protocols of sanitizing and temperature-checking are complete, potential donors fill in the lifestyle questionnaire and have their iron levels and blood pressure tested before they are allowed to donate a pint of life-saving blood.
