The dams surrounding Ladysmith remain on the high side, with all them still over 90%.

A chill is in the air and not much rain will be falling during the winter months.

Here are the latest dam levels in the Ladysmith area:

Spioenkop Dam has dropped under the 100% mark and is now on 99.95%.

Woodstock Dam is on 98.76% and Driel Barrage on 89.3%.

Wagendrift Dam is on a whopping 100.09%.

Hazelmere Dam is the lowest dam in the KZN region on 52.19%.
