ESTCOURT KZN: Round Table’s Winter Knights stave off the ‘cold bite’

These donations will be distributed to communities in need to help fight the cold this winter

Round Tablers across the country embark on an annual campaign to bring relief from the winter chill for those less fortunate.

Round Table Estcourt 74 kicked off their Winter Knights project on Friday. Members set up a collection point in the Pick n Pay car park from 5pm until 7pm, and welcomed donations of cash, non-perishable food items and warm clothes.

Within the first hour, the trailer started to fill up with donations. These donations will be distributed to communities in need to help fight the cold this winter.

“We would like to thank the Gift of the Givers, Drakensview Primary School and Sasko for their donations towards the project,” said Round Table Estcourt 74 chairman Justin Sutherland.
