VRYHEID KZN: Parkrunners are back in the park and on track

Everyone is welcome, but please adhere to the Covid-19 protocols

After a long wait, Vryheid parkrun was one of the fortunate parkruns given the go-ahead to re-open this past Saturday. We welcomed our regulars and all new participants. There were 49 runners / walkers who attended eagerly on a chilly winter’s morning.

We invite everyone to join parkrun every Saturday morning for a fun run / walk / stroll in the park, where the only competition is YOU! Everyone is welcome, but please adhere to the Covid-19 protocols… and if you don’t feel well, please stay at home. See you on Saturday. Be blessed and be safe!

Covid-19 runner and walker code:

– Stay at home if you or anyone in your household is unwell;

– Distance yourself from others wherever possible;

– Be quiet at the pre-event briefing and at the start line;

– Position yourself at the start according to your estimated finish time;

– Minimise the amount of time in close proximity to others;

– Respect other people’s personal space;

– Encourage your children to socially distance;

– Observe local Covid-19 guidelines on your way to and from the event;
