VRYHEID KZN: A run not for ‘sissies’, but for sisters

They were sleeping in luxury tents next to the mighty Tugela River

Lauren Glutz and her sister, Joanne Eyres, took to the Drakensberg hills this past weekend. They ran 35km of the African Oxpecker Trails over two days; up and down Spioenkop mountain and through the most beautiful aloe single track forest. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They were sleeping in luxury tents next to the mighty Tugela River, together with 600 other athletes. They truly enjoyed the Oxpecker hospitality, with great trails, good food and warm friendships. What a lovely weekend to relax and enjoy doing what trail runners love to do. Congratulations to Lauren and Joanne!
