Ladysmith stalwart Iqbal Khan is currently battling an illness at home.

Speaking to a close relative of Mr Khan this afternoon (June 9), he said that Iqbal is in a stable condition.

Prayers (duas) are still needed for Mr Khan as he travels the road back to good health.

Iqbal Khan is a well-known figure in the Ladysmith community, and is often the master of ceremonies at events.

The Ladysmith Gazette wishes him a speedy recovery.
