ESTCOURT KZN: Observing a special day with the community
350 meals were distributed by the Food for Life volunteers in Forderville and another 150 in Colita
To celebrate the appearance day of His Holiness Krishna Das Swami Maharaj’s , the Food for Life Estcourt branch did what they do best…give back to the community.
The team cooked and packaged 500 meals of breyani, dhall and salad last Sunday, fulfilling its mandate to alleviate hunger.
350 meals were distributed by the Food for Life volunteers in Forderville and another 150 in Colita.
Locals accepted the piping hot, freshly cooked lunch with appreciation.
In addition, 108 books ‘On the way to Krishna’ written by His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (founder of ISKCON) were given to locals.
