VRYHEID KZN: De Villiers couple tackles 3-day race…again

Early morning riding in the winter makes sense when the cool crisp air and quiet clear skies draw us towards a long, blissful ride. It is really difficult to get up out of a warm bed, but the rewards are just so much greater when nature rewards us with her splendour. Leon and Mariska de Villiers competed in the Outdoor Enthusiast three-day stage race again and completed 40km on Friday, 66km on Saturday and another 50km on Sunday. Three special days of cycling spent in their ‘happy place’. Well done to them for showing grit and endurance.
