Sir

Please may I enquire … if a person buys a house then renovates it, adding rooms to rent all around the property for R5 000 a room, should this not be declared a business?

I would appreciate an answer as this is happening all around us. It is like living in a location …not a suburb. Every room in the house is rented out…even the garage. At the back is a row of about seven rooms… no idea of ablution facilities at all.

Our problem is the car park on our pavements the mess is unreal and the noise goes on day and nights. Seems like young students staying there. When I go over to ask for co-operation, theyhey are having afternoon naps. It’s driving our neighbourhood in Mpati area nuts.
