DUNDEE KZN: Murder trial delayed… again

This time the Magistrate fell ill

There has been yet another delay in the trial of murder accused Kenneth Edwin ‘Jimmy’ Mulhatton.

He appeared briefly in the Dundee Regional Court on Monday, only to have the case again postponed to September 6 – which will be almost a year since Ronnie Calitz was murdered in his Beaconsfield Street house, which was gutted by fire on September 16. 2020. I

t was said that the Regional Court magistrate had fallen ill, forcing the re-scheduling of all cases. Mulhatton is still being incarcerated at the Ladysmith Correctional Services Centre. He has pleaded ‘not guilty’ to the charge of murder.
