NQUTHU KZN: Roads still closed due to taxi fare dispute

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible

Protests are continuing in the Nquthu area over taxi fares. Commuters want taxi fares decreased. Roads in the area are still being blocked with branches, tyres, rocks and other obstacles.

Motorists have resorted to driving on make shift route to avoid the blockades. Yesterday the Blood River/Nquthu road was closed and there were protests in the Ndindindi area. SAPS are monitoring the situation.
