DANNHAUSER KZN: SAPS praised for their efforts
Community members have praised the police for their prompt response
Dannhauser police have been praised by the community for their efforts in keeping the town safe during the recent unrest that swept through Gauteng and KZN.
Dannhauser was one of the few towns which was spared from the rampant looting and destruction, thanks to sacrifices made by volunteers, security officers and the police.
The police officers on night shift were ever vigilant, patrolling throughout the night to ensure that no criminals or opportunists took advantage of the situation.
The officers on night shift duty during the past week were: W/O Ntuli, W/O Mthethwa, Sgt Moloi, Sgt Mtetwa, Sgt Shabalala, Sgt Mlaba, Sgt Mathebula, Sgt Mbtaha, Sgt Khumalo, Sgt Mdlalose, Sgt Ndlovu, Sgt Dube, Sgt Hlongwane, Sgt Naraidu, Cnst Singh and Cnst Ngwenya.
Community members have praised the police for their prompt response. In turn, police have also thanked the community for their assistance in keeping the town safe.
“We would like to thank the community of Dannhauser for assisting the SAPS during this difficult unrest. “We really appreciated how our community stood together, regardless of gender and race,” the SAPS said.
