Ladysmith KZN: Essential goods donated to local community

Fending off hunger is one way of saying that, with the help of our fellow South Africans, we can overcome the attempt to destabilise the country.

Various individuals and businesses from Gauteng donated many essential items which were distributed in Ladysmith recently.

Acaciavale Primary School HOD Mr Ramdin, together with his wife and family, took part in distributing the goods, which included fruits and vegetables.

The distribution took place over a two-day period. On July 20, they gave out over 60 hampers and the following day, another 60.

Mr Ramdin commented that, ”We stood as a symbol to say no to looting. We stand for unity in the country. We donated in the hope of ensuring that people’s lives are not totally disrupted and to show that we can still rebuild our country.
