DANNHAUSER KZN: Storytellers shine at Dannhauser Secondary

Learners who participated could choose from poetry, essay writing, letter writing or storytelling

History came alive at Dannhauser Secondary School as learners competed in the iNkosi Albert Luthuli Oral History Programme.

This programme aims to celebrate the lives of significant heroes and heroines who brought about democracy, peace, unity and nation-building.

Learners who participated could choose from poetry, essay writing, letter writing or storytelling. They put on some impressive, entertaining and powerful performances, leaving the judges with a tough choice to make.

In the end, the following winners were selected:

Poetry: 1. Andiswa Yende; 2. Rumaysa Rasheed; and 3. Cebolebkosi Khanyi.

Essay Writing: 1. Thalente Zwane; 2. Bongumusa Nyembe; and 3. Sukoluhle Mngomezulu.

Letter Writing: 1. Siyathoka Mbatha; 2.Subhan McDonald; and 3. Muzi Biyela.

Storytelling:
1. Nombulelo Mkhwanazi; 2. Gabriella Goordeen and 3. Buhlebezwe Mazibuko.
