Endumeni security guards demand answers over unpaid salaries

Endumeni Municipality security guards allegedly go unpaid for two months and gather outside the municipal building demanding answers.

Security guards assigned to Endumeni Municipality gathered outside the municipal building this morning to demand a meeting after allegedly not receiving their salaries for two months.

The guards told the Courier that their employer told them they could not be paid because the municipality had failed to pay the security company for its services.

Those entering the municipal building confirmed that no security guards were manning the entrances.

The Courier has requested a response from the municipality and will publish it once received.
