DUNDEE KZN: Six-year-old killed in drive-by shooting
The motive for the shooting is unclear at this stage
Dundee police are investigating a gruesome double murder and attempted murder case in which a six-year-old girl was among the victims.
Hlanganani Sithole (22) and Asanda Gabela (6) were brutally gunned down by the occupants of a passing vehicle while walking home from a function near Stratford Farm.
A third person was wounded in the shooting and is being treated in hospital at present. Those responsible are still at large.
The suspects are unknown to police and the vehicle they were travelling in is also unknown. The motive for the shooting is unclear at this stage.
“We appeal to anyone who may have information regarding the suspects to contact Dundee SAPS on 034 299 9786 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111,” said Colonel Thembeka Mbele from the Provincial Media Centre.
