DUNDEE KZN: Tennis duo ‘serve up an ace’ to make Sarel Cilliers super proud

Snothile Ntuli and Thabiso Khanyile represented Sarel Cilliers in the Open Tennis Tournament held at St Dominic’s Academy in Newcastle.
Our senior players had to play five rounds lasting 15 minutes for each round.
Results:
Snothile played two rounds, winning the first round 3-1 and losing the second round 18-8.
Thabiso played three rounds, losing round 1 0-7 but making a great comeback in round 2 to win 18-8.
Unfortunately, she lost round 3 with a score of 4-9.
Due to rain, the final rounds could not be played and the tournament had to be cancelled.
Thank you to Miss R Maharaj for accompanying the learners, as well as a special ‘thank you’ to Mr Y Soobramoney for allowing us the opportunity to have participated in the tournament. The learners were very appreciative of the experience.
