Successful morning for Mooi River and District SPCA
It was heartwarming to see how many youngsters are gentle and kind to animals

The team from the Mooi River & District SPCA had such a wonderful morning at the amazing Earth Route Market in Nottingham Road on April 2.
Snowy and Sasha, our up-for-adoption dogs, loved the interaction with some ‘new humans’ and especially enjoyed receiving treats from the children who came to our table. It was heartwarming to see how many youngsters are gentle and kind to animals.

One little girl gave Sasha a hug and said, “Goodbye, Sasha, I hope you find a nice home”.
We do too, and hope she and Snowy are welcomed into a new home soon – not necessarily together, although Sasha has quite a crush on Snowy!
A huge THANK YOU to the Earth Route Market team and all who assisted: we received over R500 from Jennifer Hindle’s flower stall, and our tin contains quite a bit too, so it was a great opportunity to meet-and-greet and remind people about what the SPCA does.
Thanks to our dedicated SPCA team of Bongani Dladla and Phumlani Majola, who gave up their morning to showcase the dogs they obviously adore (and who adore them too).
