Anger as business’s JoJo tanks are filled

Water tankers were seen filling up JoJo tanks at a private business

Residents expressed their anger this morning (May 6) about a water issue they find concerning.

Residents saw uThukela water tankers filling up JoJo tanks at a private business and questioned why this was being done, while they were not receiving any water.

“Close to three weeks and we do not have water, but a private business is a priority?” fumed one resident.

“How are we expected to survive? It’s ridiculous that a business should get top priority while the ‘man in the street’ continues to suffer with ‘dry taps’!” fumed another person.

Residents in the area feel it is unfair that the business’s water tanks were filled, but their buckets remain empty.
