It has been confirmed that the occupants of the farm were not harmed.

Following an attempted farm attack earlier this evening (May 18), one person has been arrested.
According to Morne Potgieter, Operations Manager for Ithemba Security, the suspect was spotted on the premises and captured by farmers. His supposed accomplices managed to flee the scene however.
We cannot confirm much more about the incident, but we can confirm that the family was fortunately not injured,” said Potgieter.
All emergency services have been placed on high alert and are still on the lookout for the escaped suspects.
First responders are currently at the farm to conduct preliminary investigations into the incident.
