Officials have cautioned that the N11 Majuba Pass will be closed for the majority of the day.

Two people have died and one more is injured, following a multi-vehicle collision on the N11 Majuba Pass this morning (May 24).
According to officials at the scene, a driver heading towards Newcastle lost control of his truck, causing him to collide with a stationary heavy-duty construction vehicle.
This caused him to collide more heavy-duty vehicles, before the truck overturned,” said the source.
It is believed that approximately six heavy-duty vehicles were involved, with two fatalities reported.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and treated the truck driver for moderate injuries. A second patient was treated for serious injuries, but sadly passed away at the scene.
Emergency services officials are currently at the scene conducting preliminary investigations.
They have cautioned that the N11 Majuba Pass will remain closed for the majority of the day – motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
