One dead in Tigerskloof fatal crash

A case of culpable homicide has been opened and remains subjective to further police investigations.

One person died in a fatal crash on the N11 near Tigerskloof on Sunday, October 30.

According to Lizzy Arumugam, Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications Officer, police were called to the accident scene after a truck driver lost control and veered off the road.

“The driver was pronounced dead at the scene,” she explained.

A case of culpable homicide has been opened, and further police investigations are ongoing.
