Three dead after bus, car crash on Madadeni road

Three people have lost their lives after a light motor vehicle and a bus collided on the P438, Madadeni road, earlier this morning (May 12).

Craig Botha of the KwaZulu Private Ambulance Services confirmed that when emergency services arrived, they found that a bus and car had been involved in a collision.

“Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that three patients had sustained serious injuries,” he said.

The patients were treated on scene before being transported to the hospital for further care.

Three of the occupants succumbed to their injuries before emergency services arrived.

The exact cause of the collision is still unknown at this stage and will remain subject to further police investigations.
