Two DJS athletes to compete at SA Championships

Justin won gold in the javelin with a throw of 34 meters and silver in the high jump with a height of 1.6 meters.

Two top-performing athletes from Dundee Junior School (DJS) will be representing KZN at the SA Junior Championships this weekend after putting in brilliant performances at the KZN Athletic Championships.

Justin Duvenage and Novelee Vorster will be in action in Secunda after both earning their Provincial Colours in the under 13 division in the provincial round.

Justin came home with a gold medal in the javelin event, throwing a distance of 34 metres; and a silver in high jump, managing a height of 1.6 metres.
Novelee earned gold in high jump with 1.5 metres.
“We congratulate both these young stars for their achievements and for putting Dundee Junior School on the map.
“We wish them all the best in this weekend’s SA Championships,” said school principal Brits Maree.
